Each of the Disney parks have a wonderful shops, thrilling rides, and plenty of experiences to immerse yourself in the magic of it all. Today, I want to highlight Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. Magic Kingdom is home to Adventureland, Tomorrowland, Frontierland, Fantasyland, Liberty Square, and Main Street, U.S.A. Each land in Magic Kingdom are home to some awesome attractions. Today, I wanted to highlight my top 5 rides at Magic Kingdom. It is important to note that there are some many great rides at this park and honestly I could probably do a top 10 or greater. However, I have challenged myself to only compose a list of my top 5 rides. So without further adieu........
#5 Magic Carpets of Aladdin
This is one had to be on the list! I am a HUGE Aladdin fan and this ride is a must do every trip! I really could not do a top 5 without including this ride. It's honestly not as thrilling as some other rides in Magic Kingdom, but it is a great ride to relax and enjoy the sights of the Sunshine Terrance and Adventureland in general as you are taking flight. There is also no height requirement for this ride.
#4 Jungle Cruise
Another favorite in my family and a must do every trip! The Jungle Cruise is a great relaxing ride where you get in a few laughs to some awesome puns and see the 8th wonder of the world "the backside of water!" There is no height requirement for this ride and you can use Genie+.
#3 The Haunted Mansion
This ride is a great way to beat the heat or weather (especially if you visit Magic Kingdom on a rainy day). From the queue to the actual ride, this one had to be included on my top 5 list! There is no height requirement for this ride and you can use Genie +.
#2 Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
A big theme on this list so far is rides that are must dos for each trip. This ride is no different. Big Thunder Mountain is a great thrill that takes you on a wild ride through the gold mine. It can be a little bumpy, so be sure to hang on! There is a height requirement of 40" to ride. You can use Genie+ on this attraction.
#1 Pirates of the Carribbean
Again, this is a must do on every trip. I just love the theming and the queue. Plus, I love pirates! They were a favorite topic to study in school. I especially love all things about Blackbeard! I love the energy of this dark boat ride. I just wish there would be a shark or two (I mean I would love it!). It's definitely a pirate's life for me! There is no height requirement for this ride and you can use Genie+.
Some Honorable Mentions that I just couldn't end without sharing......
-The Peoplemover -Hands down the most relaxing and best views of Tomorrowland. There is no height requirement for this attraction. Here's a selfie for reference (the hat is inspired by Rajah the tiger, Princess Jasmine's tiger in Aladdin).
-Mad Tea Party (I love celebrating my Unbirthday on this fun ride!)
-Splash Mountain (can't wait to the new reimagining with Princess and The Frog, but I have to say this was another favorite during my trips to Disney).
Important Note: I have not gotten the chance to ride Tron yet, but I am anxiously awaiting my next trip because I have a feeling I might have to update my list! :) (Note: Tron will be an individual lightning lane that you can purchase during your visit and is not offered through Genie+).
